International Admissions Coordinator
Role:
EF High School Exchange Year coordinates the placement of international high school exchange students from around the world with volunteer host families in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland. As an International Admissions Coordinator, you will work through a minimum of four time zones as you work directly with our offices around the world. You are the primary contact for our students and their parents as you assist with the application process and you will be screening and reviewing applications in conjunction with guidelines set by the US Department of State and EF. You will be communicating with students and parents on all relevant channels including phone, e-mail, messenger and social media, with limited in-person contact.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have fluency in Spanish as well as proficient in English (C1-level). Other languages are a plus.
- Strong sense of organization and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Clear and effective communication skills – working as a liaise between sales and production
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience traveling or living abroad is a plus.

The International Admissions Coordinator is great with relationships and is able to maintain professional working relationships across many cultures and time zones. Integrity and a passion for customer service and strong professional phone demeanor is fundamental as you are the main contact and help resource for our students during the application process. In conjunction with the other members of the International Admissions team, you will determine final candidate suitability and acceptance while at the same time ensuring that students and their parents remain well-supported and excited about their upcoming experience.
