Did you know that we took on well over 100 female apprentice engineers last year? 30% of our new apprentices were female and we intend to keep that trend going and want you to help us achieve this to “Break the Mould” Over 40% of new recruits were older than 30.
We know that on average woman are far less likely to be encouraged to pursue a career in science or technology. We are striving forward each day to break down barriers. We have no barriers which is why we consider all applications regardless of age, gender identity or background.
Need:
All we need from you is a driving licence, you get your new van on day 1 of training at our world class academy, 4 GCSEs or equivalent, a genuine desire and interest to work with your hands (If your nervous about picking up a screw driver this probably isn’t the right apprenticeship for you), self-discipline to learn and there is a lot to learn, and of course superb customer service skills as we have millions of customers to serve.
The full course is around 54 weeks and is a mixture of classroom and field learning. Practical learning and theory. Self-Study is a must. We pay our apprentices £14k and this is increased to £17k and then £20k when milestones are reached. After 54 weeks and successful completion of the course your salary will be £29,550 with bonus and add on’s on top.

Smart metering is the digital version of measuring gas and electricity usage sending data from an energy meter real time to an electronic display. They are important as they help customers view in £’s exactly what they are using to help budget and conserve energy.
