Position Summery:
s a Human Rights Manager, you will be responsible for further developing and deploying the Human Rights strategy within operations across the company upstream supply chains (30Mio tons of raw materials across 86 countries)

A day in the life:
- Assessing human rights breaches within upstream supply chains, together with category leads and NGO partners,
- Shaping and developing category specific and (where applicable) cross category strategies to tackle human rights issues.
- Planning the resources required to implement action plan including estimated investment
- Attracting co-funding where necessary
- Providing technical assistance: to internal stakeholders on the implementation of the signed off action plans
- Developing a center of expertise: in human rights, social conflict, transitional law
- Monitoring and reporting of Above the Market teams on progresses related to human rights
- Driving specific projects (reforestation) ensuring human rights aspects are handled correctly (land rights, indigenous community conflict resolution)
- Interact with governmental bodies (UN entities, country specific ministry) and NGOs related to projects and duties.

Master of Arts in human rights, political sciences, transitional laws5-7 years experience in human rights due diligence as part of governmental, non governmental or corporate entitiesExpertise in human rights conflict resolutions, international human rights regulations Publicly recognized leadership related to the operational execution of actions in conflict zones or remote, agricultural locations Theoretical & Practical know how in agricultural community resiliencySkilled for external representation to industry roundtables
